Console Command Fixes

Annoying Game Fixes

Bethesda’s annoying last update broke some of the quests, and I had to run commands to proceed.

  • setstage DLC03MQ06 130 (Checks off the “Listen to the Safe Room Security Tape”)
  • setstage DLC03MQ06 250 (Advance “The Way Life Should Be”)
  • completequest DLC04MQ04 (Complete Home Sweet Home “Forces completion if it bugs out”)
  • setstage DLC04MQ05 5 (Starts Power Play if it won’t trigger.)
  • player.removeitem 03032C52 1 (Removes High Confessor’s Note from your inventory)
  • player.placeatme 03032C52 1 (Respawns the High Confessor’s Note near you (fixes bugged/missing note))

Game File Modifications

Disable Out Of Bounds Border

  1. Navigate to “Documents\My Games\Fallout4\Fallout4.ini“.
  2. Add “bBorderRegionsEnabled=0” under the [General] section.
  3. Open the console and type: “refreshini“, then go to the location.

Fallout 4 How To Mod & Mods I Use/Have Used

How to Mod Fallout 4

A video that can help if my instructions are confusing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pATqYEUJnEA

  1. Download the following:
    Fallout 4 Script Extender (F4SE)
    Vortex Mod Manager
  2. Open the Fallout 4 Script Extender (F4SE) zip file.
  3. All contents inside the folder “f4se_x_xx_xx” needs to be extracted to: “C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4
If you need to overwrite the contents in the main Fallout 4 directory, do so.
  4. In the Fallout 4 directory, right-click on “f4se_loader.exe” and create a shortcut to your desktop. It will now be your primary Fallout 4 launch shortcut. You can change the shortcut name to Fallout 4 if you wish.

To revert to the Fallout 4 icon, follow these steps.

  1. My f4se shortcut is called: Fallout 4 Mod Loader
  2. Right-click “Fallout 4 Mod Loader” and go to “properties” from the context menu.
  3. Click on “Change Icon”
  4. Click on “Browse”
  5. Navigate to your Fallout 4 Directory.  In this case it’s C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4
  6. Click on “Fallout4.exe” and press Open, then press “OK” and press “Apply” and “OK

Now you’ll see the Fallout 4 Icon

Fallout 4 London Mod

Fallout 4 London

I’ll eventually add to this after I have done everything in the main game.  (Yes, I played it before)  One thing I hate about it is too excessive in loading from the wall sections.  But an amazing mod in general.
